One example of the effects of torsion-free tightening is that the utilization factor v is excluded from the calculation of the permissible assembly preload FMzul (R7); i.e., 100% of the minimum yield strength Rp0.2min is used. This property of the tightening process is also included in the calculation of the safety against exceeding the yield point SF (R8), the maximum surface pressure during installation pMmax (R10) and, if applicable, the required residual clamp load in the interface FKRmin (R2).
