Torsion free tightening

One example of the effects of torsion-free tightening is that the utilization factor v is excluded from the calculation of the permissible assembly preload F_Mzul (R7); i.e., 100% of the minimum yield strength R_p0.2min is used. This property of the tightening process is also included in the calculation of the safety against exceeding the yield point S_F (R8), the maximum surface pressure during installation p_Mmax (R10) and, if applicable, the required residual clamp load in the interface F_KRmin (R2).
