The residual clamp load at the interface FKRmin during relief or loading by the additional plate load FPA and after embedding in service.
The following options are available:
- User specified, direct numerical input of the residual clamp load FKRmin.
- Acc. to VDI 2230; i.e., calculation of the required minimum clamp load FKerf (R2) to ensure the friction grip FKQ, the sealing function FKP if necessary, and prevent opening FKA. The residual clamp load FKRmin must be greater than or equal to the required minimum clamp load FKerf.
