The permissible assembly preload F_Mzul for a selected bolt can be taken from tables in VDI 2230 (tables A1, A2, A3, A4) with a utilization factor v of 0.9 of the minimum yield point R_p0.2min, or calculated directly (R7) with specification of the utilization factor.
