The specification of the standard deviation of the sn-curve is an important quantity to be able to evaluate the later results.
In addition, the survival probability of the sn-curve can only be converted using the standard deviation, e.g. if you want to convert from a 90% survival probability to 99%.
The standard deviation is not included in the calculation according to ISO 6336 and serves the purpose of documentation.
