The loss-relevant width and diameter of the planet carrier or the shaft are used for the loss calculation according to Kettler:
- Two-sided planet carrier
- One-sided planet carrier
If the planet carrier is defined parametrically, these values are determined automatically. If the planet carrier is represented by an FE mesh or a stiffness matrix, these variables must be entered manually.
