The diameter of the interface bearing area dTr can be specified for tapped thread joints if the body with the tapped thread is very small and leads to a small interface diameter. In this case, the cone height of the substitutional deformation solid lV is calculated using dTr instead of DA. This leads to a different angle of the substitutional deformation solid and to a different plate resilience δP (R3).
