Width

The geometry of a coupling can be defined by the following parameters:

• Outer diameter
• Inner diameter
• Width

These specifications are only necessary if FE components are connected to the rest of the system via the coupling. In this case, the coupling points are created in the area of the geometry defined in this way.

If analytical components are connected via the coupling, the force transmission is point-like at the specified position (center of the coupling).
