The contact between segment and bearing shell influences the segment lowering at a certain force and thus affects the local gap height.
If the stiffness characteristic curve is selected, the relationship between segment lowering and force on the segment support can be specified directly.
With all other selection options, geometric quantities are specified with which the relationship between force and segment subsidence can be calculated.
